CanapéBox is headed up by experienced private chef, Chris Messum. He is supported by a strong team of dedicated chefs at the top of their game who work tirelessly to produce our delicious canapés.
Born from their expertise in luxury event catering, CanapéBox was created to offer a seamless, hassle-free alternative to traditional catering, focusing exclusively on delivering mouthwatering canapés straight to your door. Maximum taste | minimal fuss.
CanapéBox is based in a lovely rural setting in the heart of the Chiltern Hills.
A canapé is small bite sized food served as an appetiser or starter. They are perfect little nibbles essential for throwing any party!
All canapés are hand delivered by our CanapéBox team in eco-friendly recyclable packaging with nifty chill packs which keep them perfectly chilled for up to six hours post-delivery, so you can enjoy all the convenience without worrying about refrigeration. All you need to do is plate and serve – it’s that easy!
(Transport trays are not designed to serve your canapes, you will need to use your own platters.)
We offer two standard delivery windows:Deliveries are made Monday to Saturday. We are closed on Sunday and public holidays.
a) 11am – 1pm
b) 1pm – 4pm
Standard delivery is charged at £35. Out of hours delivery and deliveries outside of the M25 will incur additional charges.

We deliver on Saturdays only. We are closed on Sundays and public holidays.
We don’t deliver on Sunday but we can deliver a selection of canapés on the Saturday designed to last 48 hours. These items will need to be kept refrigerated overnight.
We mainly cover the South East of England but cover many other areas too. Please contact us for more information.

All our canapés are freshly prepared the morning of your event and delivered cold. Our Hot Bites are designed to be reheated by you. Please refer to the reheating instructions on the last page of our Hot Bites menu. Please check oven power as cooking times may vary. Our minimum order is £300 plus delivery (£35). There is a minimum order value of 20 canapés per flavour.
Yes! We have vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, lactose free and nut free options available.All allergens can be found under our Allergens Matrix here.
All products are produced in kitchens that contain allergens and we cannot guarantee our products are 100% free from allergens or contain only listed ingredients. We do, however, produce our products using rigorous HACCP and SFBB systems so our products present a ‘low risk’.

As many as you like, we have no limit. We do have a minimum order value of 20 canapés per flavour and a minimum order value of £250 plus delivery (£35).
We recommend between 6 and 8 canapés per person for a 1-2 hour reception plus an additional 2 canapés per person, per hour thereafter.
Please email or contact us directly as soon as possible. Numbers can be reduced 48 hours prior to your event, after this time they can only be increased.

Orders cancelled with 5 working days notice will be refunded in full. Orders placed after this time cannot be refunded.
Our canapés are a cold food delivery and therefore zero VAT rated. Our canapés will need to be removed from transport packaging and placed on your own platters to serve.
